I am the owner and Director of True North Acupuncture and a Licensed Acupuncturist in Minnesota, nationally board-certified through the NCCAOM. Since my career began in 2013, I have had a passion for perinatal care, and I thoroughly enjoy supporting my patients through all stages — from preconception and fertility through pregnancy and postpartum. I have additional post-graduate training in perinatal acupuncture and am a 2023 graduate of the Maternity Acupuncture Mentoring and Peer Support (MAMPS) program, the only research-driven post-graduate training in perinatal acupuncture currently offered in the West.

I earned my Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2012. After graduation I moved from Minneapolis to Haiku on Maui, where I worked in a community acupuncture clinic serving Native Hawaiian communities. In 2018 I joined Hennepin Healthcare, a level-one trauma center, providing outpatient acupuncture care through 2026. I also love to integrate ancestral-based nutritional principles inspired by the Weston A. Price Foundation into my practice, to support holistic maternal and family health.

I live in the beautiful, rural town of Grant, MN with my family, and have had the honor or practicing and volunteering at a local Buddhist meditation center in Minneapolis since 2009.
